Po River Wine & Cheese Tasting at Bar Bambino

Bar Bambino is hosting another of its nifty little Sunday afternoon wine and cheese tastings this weekend (not to be confused with its new "Italian Pop Saturdays"); this time around, check out the wine and cheese of Piemonte and Lombardia with Head Cheesemonger Colin Shaff and Beverage Director Becky Pezzullo.

Such classic pairs as Barolo & Gorgonzola and Franciacorta & Taleggio hail from the small, isolated Po river valley of Northern Italy; should you find yourself wanting for delicious things on Sunday afternoon the 21st of September, head over to Bar Bambino around 3pm and get a little bit schooled -- and a little bit sated.
